UMP Corporate Identity

Corporate identity is one of the image components in forming an effective strategy in introducing university. UMP logo should be used consistently in all promotional materials including printed and electronic materials. The responsibility of promoting corporate images uniformly and consistently falls under each and every department in UMP

Two main components in UMP logo:

  • Emblem placement; and
  • Text name and abbreviation of UMP (typeface) on the right side of the symbol

UMP trademark, logo, name text “Universiti Malaysia Pahang” and abbreviation of UMP is registered under each classes:

  1. Class 16 – paper, cardboard and goods made from these material, not included in other classes; printed matter; bookbinding material; photographs; stationery; adhesives for stationery or household purposes; artists’ material; paints brushes; typewriters and office requisites (except furniture); instructional and teaching material (except apparatus); plastic materials for packaging (not included on other classes); printers’ type; printing block
  1. Class 17 – rubber, gutta-percha, gum, asbestos, mica and goods made from these material and not included in other classes; plastic in extruded form for use in manufacture; packing, stopping and insulating materials; flexible pipes, not of metal
  • Class 41 – education; providing of training; entertainment; sporting and cultural activities
  1. Class 42 – scientific and technological services and research design relating thereto; industrial analysis and research services; design and development of computer hardware and software

Logo, image or department’s/faculty’s name are place on the right side of UMP logo (based on emblem placement and UMP typeface aspect)

Logo representative should not be less than 23mm width in horizontal to ensure the clear visibility of its features. No maximum limit for logo representative but the enlarge size must be done accordingly with the integration scale. (Please use the shift key when dragging the sizing or using the same percentage when using the measuring device.)
